Sat here on the ferry on the way back from delivering the 5 very special horses to the airport in Leige Belgium. All loaded safe and sound, and are currently in the air on their way to WEG! How exciting!
The riders all fly on Friday, with Chris Bartle, we can't wait! My mum, Marcelle and Rachel (Tina’s Groom) are already out there waiting for the horses to arrive and will be looking after them along with Liz Brown the team vet, in Quarantine for the 48 hours requirement. The rest of the grooms and Dickie Waygood will be flying out tomorrow (Thursday). I'm just really looking forward to getting there now and getting on with the job. Arctic Soul feels on great form and along with a fantastic team I hope we can bring home a good result.

Last week we had such a fun few days jumping at Hickstead, as we were not at Burghley we kept ourselves busy working on my 2nd career! Many clear rounds jumps, with some really great fast rounds against the clock too. This meant I qualified to jump in the main arena on Sunday with Santiago Bay and Pamero. This is such good practice. Santiago Bay also jumped in the 1.35m Derby on Saturday, she was absolutely amazing and we finished 6th out of 45 competitors.

Finally I want to say a massive well done to Tim Price, he won Burghley with such unbelievable class and calmness. Him and his wife Jonelle, are a force to be reckoned with and are incredibly hard working people who deserve every success. Now to try and beat them at WEG!
