Gemma is now embarking on her 10th year on the World Class Development Programme. The programme is funded by the National Lottery, and provides support for athletes who are potential Olympians. The Eventing programme is divided into Start, Potential and Elite squads. Gemma is on the Elite Squad, and really enjoys the training and other support she gets. ‘I get a lot of support and help from the programme, and the training especially helps me – I have always enjoyed having lessons, and the lessons I get through the programme are from the best trainers in the country’ said Gemma.
